At Las Vegas Weekly magazine, I worked on stories that helped shape the city’s evolving narrative; spanning business, local and national politics, culture, entertainment, and sports. I was there during a pivotal moment in Las Vegas history, contributing to coverage of the city’s professional sports boom, including the inaugural seasons of the Vegas Golden Knights, Aces, and Raiders, as well as the arrival of Formula 1. My work coincided with major milestones such as the openings of T-Mobile Arena, Allegiant Stadium, and the F1 circuit.

I collaborated closely with writers, art directors, the publisher, and the marketing team to develop compelling visual storytelling. This included creating original illustrations and graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate, and designing layouts in InDesign. When photography was required, I sourced imagery or art directed photo shoots, then handled post-production with retouching, compositing, and image manipulation to align with the editorial vision. Each issue demanded the ability to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and consistently elevate a wide range of subject matter through strong, thoughtful design.
